Considering your development and research activities through online
intervention, we cordially invite you to submit application for
participating in the *Social Media and Social Bookmarking Workshop*. The
main objective of the workshop is the sharing to improve the effective use
of online information sharing and social bookmarking with social networking
applications. This is important for advocacy, campaign and promotion of your
organization and activities worldwide with ease through web traffic and
organizing the content online.

The workshop will emphasis online media technique and presentation for
webmaster, media & communication officer, researcher, activists, journalist,
students of media studies, ICT and development practitioners who are active
in online media are target participants.

The workshop will be held with combination of two F2F (face to face)
workshop followed by the 7 days extended learning (e-learning) over net and
ICT tools. The brief schedule as follows:

The workshop is extended initiative of “Bangladesh Conference on improving
research infrastructures with social media” which was held on February 2011
at BRAC. As partner University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ulab.edu.bd) and
Machizo Multimedia (machizo.com <http://www.machizo.com/>) is playing
important role as local partners.

I will be the facilitator of the workshop. Along with social media and
social book marking I will give solution and guide for easy and effective
use of online media in the open discussion forum. However all the process
and presentation will be with participatory and innovative way that learning
and knowledge sharing could be active and useful. To make easy
understandable a number of learning video will be presented.

The workshop will take place in the well equipped computer lab of the
*“University
of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (Campus A. Computer Lab, Room -302) *with WiFi
internet connection. All 20 participants will get one computer with internet
connection. We will provide launch and refreshment for the participants.

We believe by joining the workshop your organization will be benefited by
grasping the social media techniques and spirit of sharing.  The
participants of the last Bangladesh Focuss.info conference (
focuss.info/bangladesh <http://www.focuss.info/bangladesh> ) are not
illegible to join.
