Hunger Free World (HFW)

Hunger Free World (HFW) is promoting Right to Food, Organic Farming and Vision 2021 in Bangladesh. Since established in 2001 HFW uses a four pillar structure with projects in advocacy, awareness raising, youth development and development on the ground. Our development projects operate at a grassroots level in the six domains of education, environment, health and sanitation, nutrition improvement, gender equity and income generation. Together these projects achieve food security and improve the lives of people by helping them to move towards self-reliance. We believe ending hunger cannot be achieved by implementing one or two well managed projects – instead it requires a comprehensive approach. Our emphasis is on working with villagers to improve their expertise so they can make a difference in their own area rather than always relying on outside help.
