Over the past 27 years, the NGO has provided access to lifesaving diagnostics and treatment for hundreds of thousands of people. In Bangladesh, as part of a large consortium of NGO partners led by the National TB Program, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BRAC covers over 90 million through shasthya shebikas, women working as community health volunteers, providing daily supervised treatment (DOTS) to almost 100,000 patients with a 92% cure rate.
