After three days of SIDR, I had got the news over cell phone. The day of SIDR, I had tried to communicate with my family members and relatives from Dhaka, but I was failed, as at that time, telecommunication system was fully down here! After 3 days, when I could communicate. My only brother who alive now was took off from 30 feet top of a tree. He had stayed whole night there!  However, he could not say anything about staying on tree! He was senseless! With God’s blessing, in morning people had made him down from top of the tree! Among 7 family members, at least 6 members of us were killed by SIDS storm at night! My father, mother, 2 nephews,  my child and my wife  were killed! Now my brother and I are alive only! We are now orphan and alone….

আমি খবর পাইছি তিন দিন পরে, মোবাইলে। আর ঐদিন রাত্রে  যে সময় সিডর শুরু হইছে। আমি ফোন করছি, েকউ েফান ধরে না! [অথচ] সন্ধ্যা সাতটায় আমি ফোনে কথা বলছি। তারপরে আমি ফোনে পাইতেছি না। তারপরে তিনদিন পরে আমি যখন ফোন দিলাম, খবর পাইছি যে আমার একই ঘরের ভিতরে ৭ জন ছিলো [৬ জনই মারা গেছে ]।  সেখান থেকে একজন, আমার ছোট ভাই সোহাগ শুধু বেঁচেছে। েস ৩০ ফুট একটি গাছের উপর আছে। লোকজন নাকি তারে নামাইছে। সোহাগ বলছে, সারা রাতই সে গাছে ছিলাম। কিভাবে ছিলাম বলতে পারি না। পরের দিন সকালে লোকজন ওকে দেখে নামাইছে। আমার একই পরিবারে ৭ জন ছিলো, ওখান থেকে ৬ জন মারা গেছে। অমার আব্বা-আম্মা, আমার ২ টা ভাগ্নে, আমার একটা বাচ্চা আর বউ। আমি আর আমার ভাই সোহাগ আছি একটা ঘরের মধ্যে থেকে । আমরা এখন একা, এতিম!
