A two-day training workshop for child journalists of Shishu Prokash was held at the Mass-line Media Centre (MMC) on 25–26 July 2008. The program was jointly organized by UNICEF and Mass-line Media Centre (MMC) to strengthen the media and digital communication skills of young journalists.
The training was facilitated by Shahjahan Siraj, Director of Machizo Multimedia. The workshop was coordinated by Moniruzzaman Khan (News Editor), Masum Bellia (Sub-editor), and M. Tohidul Islam (Dhaka Team Leader) of Shishu Prokash.
Twelve child journalists participated in the workshop, where they developed practical skills in computer applications, internet research, digital photography, and news reporting. The training aimed to enhance their ability to produce quality stories and effectively use digital media for journalism and communication.
