Use of Digital Media and Internet for High Impact Campaign on Development Issues.

OBJECTIVES
To build expertise, confidence and competence on effective digital campaign and advocacy as well as web technical handles, media production and dissemination with high impact story telling for NGO fundraise, awareness building and reaching to target audience with latest ICT and multimedia techniques.
CONTEXT
Internet and digital media, particularly social media is becoming now mainstream media and communication tool. Everyday huge contents are producing and disseminating worldwide over Internet. Among the huge content and traffic, many quality content and issues cannot be getting proper space and recognition for technical limitations. However unwanted abstractness and complexity have been created both in production, publishing and audience levels, for huge options and technologies. The NGOs and development campaigners become busy to mange many platforms, tools and interventions together. To solve the complexity, there is needed to know some ‘Tricks and Techniques‘ on good and hazlet free use of website, blog and campaign tools to reach in target audience.
FOCUS ISSUES
The training workshop will focus purposeful use of newmedia. A clear concept, practical using-tips on multimedia production (blogging, photo, video, graphics, mailing list and digital newsletter etc), common problems analysis and the best solutions of the present practices; will be given in the sessions step by steps
The use of social media, web design, CMS, listserv, video-short, photography, audio-pod casting, visual story telling, interactivity, innovative graphical presentation, branding, copyright, creative common , SEO ( Search Engine Optimization) etc will be trained in the sessions. For better learning – the best practices and example will be reviewed in the sessions.
In a nutshell, the workshop will cover all popular online applications which are needed for NGOs and development practitioners. After training, campaigners will be able to do high impact digital campaign on their issues.
