The Machizo Multimedia team actively participated in two major regional events in Bangladesh, contributing its expertise in ICT, digital media, and communication for development.
From 1–3 December 2011, three members of the Machizo team represented the organization at e-Asia 2011, the largest ICT for Development (ICT4D) conference in Asia. Held in Dhaka under the theme “Realizing Digital Nation,” the three-day international event brought together policymakers, development professionals, technology experts, and innovators to explore how information and communication technologies can accelerate sustainable development across Asia.
The conference also celebrated the 40th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence and highlighted the country’s vision of building a Digital Bangladesh by 2021.
Earlier, from 18–22 November 2011, Machizo participated in the South Asia Social Forum (SASF), organized under the theme “Another South Asia is Possible.” During the regional gathering, the Machizo team provided website development, event photography, and video production services, helping document and promote the forum’s activities through digital media.
Through its participation in these landmark events, Machizo reaffirmed its commitment to using technology, multimedia, and creative communication to support social development, knowledge sharing, and regional collaboration.
